RCT congratulates the Ontario Ministry of Environment , Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) and Waste Diversion Ontario (WDO) on launching the Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Program to help organizations and people in Ontario divert technology to Reuse or Recycling from landfills. RCT will continue to work with the Province to ensure that Ontarians can take advantage and are aware of the reuse options in the province.

“The Reuse of Technology not only has greater environmental benefits than recycling, it has positive benefits on the economy and social fabric of this Province. The charitable sector depends on donations to provide access to those most in need. RCT wants to ensure that Reuse becomes the mainstream option for government, businesses and individuals and that the Province creates favorable conditions for the charitable sector to thrive within the WEEE Program launched today.”
